Social / Emotional Learning

Students thrive in a learning environment when they feel safe and supported. While social emotional learning may not be at the forefront of many edtech firms, STS Education is honored to partner with the Montgomery County (Ohio) Educational Service Center. 

Together, our goal is to help organizations create environments where ALL students and staff feel safe and supported and where social emotional learning can be a center of focus. Each child is challenged to discover and learn, prepared to pursue a fulfilling post-high school path and empowered to become a resilient, lifelong learner who contributes to society.

Our SEL program is focused on helping schools in support of the Whole Child. This includes being of service to the administrators, staff, students and parents. The video series includes these SEL topics: Social Awareness, Self Management, Self Awareness, Relationship Skills, Responsible Decision Making and Future Self. The six videos are designed to help parents and teachers guide children through managing their feelings and emotions.

SELLA – Elementary Language Arts Curriculum

SELLA curriculum is a Social Emotional Learning curriculum that is interwoven into a standards based ELA program with an all-encompassing project-based learning (PBL) foundation. SELLA covers the 5 CASEL competencies with an additional module of Future Self.  This curriculum meets 100% of the Common Core writing standards and many of the Common Core ELA standards. These six modules include 20 days of instruction consisting of 50 minutes lessons.
