Executive Team

Marc Netka
CEO and Co-Founder

Marc Netka is a strategic and driven business leader with a passion for education. As the CEO and entrepreneurial co-founder of STS Education, he partners with schools to enhance student outcomes and achieve education goals through technology. His journey in edtech started in 2001 as a home-based business providing refurbished computers to schools. Marc has expanded the company offerings to include complete solutions for modern learning and now has over fifty employees. For seven years, STS Education has been on the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing companies. Additionally, Marc has led the company to be one of the largest resellers for interactive displays for education, as well as one of the largest suppliers of refurbished computers, earning the elite designation as a Microsoft Authorized Refurbisher.

Spearheading community service out-reach programs to the K12 community, Marc has been honored with the Pathfinder award from the Ventura County Board of Education. Marc is also a member and thought leader on the D&H K12 Education Advisory Board. Additionally, his strong belief in continual learning led to the creation of the STS Book Club, which has paid out over $26,000 in the last 5 years to his employees for reading books.

Marc has a BA from California State University and an MBA from Pepperdine University.


Clark Buch
President and Co-Founder
A skilled businessman and entrepreneur with more than four decades of experience in the technology industry, Clark brings a powerful blend of sales, finance, marketing and leadership expertise to his role at STS Education. Clark co-founded the company, along with Marc Netka, and, as president and CFO, Clark helped increase sales revenue by more than 1,000% in the past decade. Prior to STS Education, Clark founded and grew two other companies — IT Asset Reseller and Cass Marketing Services — both of which focused on purchasing high-quality technology and reselling it worldwide. As president and CEO of Cass Marketing Services, Clark’s strategic leadership expanded the company to an impressive profitability increase of 750% over a five-year period. In addition to founding his own companies, Clark has also held sales, marketing and management roles at a variety of technology companies, including IBM and Memorex.


Rob Fiance
Chief Operating Officer
An experienced C-level edtech executive, entrepreneur and investor, Rob Fiance is a visionary leader with a strong track record of successfully launching, building and growing companies and creating high-performing teams. As COO of STS Education, Rob has helped increase revenue 100% while significantly expanding profitability and efficiency. Rob’s many accomplishments include his senior leadership roles in helping six different companies to achieve 100% to 1,000% revenue and EBITDA growth, while completing ten merger and acquisition (M&A) transactions. Throughout his career, he has played an integral role in more than $500 million in fundraising, M&A and exit transactions. He also co-developed the Strategic Opportunity Map™ system, an innovation that has generated millions of dollars in revenue growth and improved profitability for countless companies. Rob is currently an advisor to the Kairos Society, serves as a mentor for young entrepreneurs and sits on the board of Me Salva!, an edtech company based in Brazil. He holds an MBA from University of California, Los Angeles.


Aaron Toczynski
Vice President of Sales
A knowledgeable edtech product expert with a knack for building strong professional relationships, Aaron brings exceptional talent and dedication to his role as STS Education’s vice president of sales. He is responsible for hiring and training new sales personnel, assisting with corporate strategic planning and meeting with customers to support their technology needs. Aaron joined STS Education in 2010 as an account manager and has helped the company grow from $1.4 million in sales to $40 million by 2019. Throughout his tenure, Aaron has been instrumental in creating, designing and developing new services and has played a key role in curating new products to add to the company’s extensive line of education technology offerings.


Elliott Levine
Chief Academic Officer
Named to the inaugural list of the Top 100 Influencers in EdTech by EdTech Digest magazine, Elliott brings over 25 years experience across the field of education technology. A former K-12 district administrator, adjunct professor and past columnist for American School Boards Journal, Elliott has been a sought-after speaker globally. In 2016, he was promoted to the rank “Distinguished Technologist” in the field of education for HP, the first among Silicon Valley corporations. As Director of Americas Education for HP, he led strategy impacting over $1B annually, drove product development for hardware and was the lead inventor of the HP Personal Learning Engine, improving math proficiency levels by over 100% in testing. In addition, Elliott is co-founder of PAPERbasket, named “Best New Product 2018” by EdTech Digest, which tracks device use analytics helping schools uncover underused digital resources.


Bryan Shark
Vice President of Business Development
A leader in the education professional services industry for nearly 20 years, Bryan drives esports and shared services initiatives at STS Education. Previously, Bryan led the Learning Environment Sales team at School Specialty as their VP of Sales, and was responsible for designing and delivering innovative spaces focused on improving student outcomes. He served as a Strategic Council Member on the Partnership for 21st Century Skills and has held sales and sales management positions on a local and national level. His role model, Anthony Jezowski (grandfather), lived by the phrase “knowledge is power” which Bryan continues to integrate into his personal and professional life. Bryan holds an MBA from Saginaw Valley State University in Michigan.
